Travis Gillespie Hockey Scholarship
The Travis Gillespie Hockey Scholarship has been an incredible sponsor to Warkworth Minor Hockey players! This coming season they will be looking for 2 new players to sponsor. Deadline is September 1st!
"Travis Gillespie was passionate about sports and enjoyed playing hockey. He took pride in any team he was a part of, had the drive to play his hardest and do his best while having fun.
Travis loved being part of a community and giving back in any way he could, so we have started a Hockey Scholarship in his honour.
This scholarship will be awarded to two children playing minor hockey at each of the select organizations, Brighton Bolts, Warkworth Bulldogs, Cold Creek Comets and Colborne Hawks.
To submit an application, we ask that the player applying, writes a few paragraphs on why they love the sport and why they feel they should receive this scholarship.
The deadline to submit your application will be Septemeber 1st, 2025.
